As more consumers talk about cutting the cable TV cord, as Julie Jacobson has, integrators need to be prepared to discuss the pros and cons of each technology with clients.
What will they have access to and what will they miss when deciding between Cable/Satellite TV, over-the-air TV, video game consoles, Internet TV and Blu-ray Players. The Boston Globe recently ran an article "Cutting the Cable" that included this handy cheat sheet that dealers should use when talking to clients about the limitations of what the aforementioned types of services have to offer.
